Progress in implementing the Mental Health Act continues to proceed satisfactorily.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services on how many occasions during October 1984 a hospital has declined to confirm that it is able to accept a patient pursuant to the provisions of sections 35, 36 or 38 of the Mental Health Act 1983; and whether he will make a statement.
