§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he has received any indication from the London Boroughs Association of its policy towards funding the 61 voluntary housing organisations referred to under the proposed arrangements for collective grantgiving in the event of the abolition of the Greater London council.

The London Boroughs Association has agreed to invite 61 voluntary organisations now funded by the GLC and engaged in provision for the single homeless to apply for grants under the proposed arrangements for collective funding, in the knowledge that in principle a grant for the service they provide has already been agreed.
