§ Mr. Kenneth BakerI refer the hon. Member to my reply of 29 October to the hon. Member for Liverpool, Riverside (Mr. Parry) at c.868. Since then I have received a representation from Professor Basil Smallman of Liverpool university.
I have no plans at present to hold discussions on the future of St. George's Hall. I am still waiting to hear from Liverpool city council who are considering a number of possible uses. I have made it clear to them that I shall be happy to discuss their proposals as soon as they are ready.
