§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied with the policy of the Oxford regional health authority towards providing regional secure psychiatric units.
§ Mr. John PattenAt discussions with the Department earlier this year, the regional health authority announced a review of its regional secure unit policies which had not hitherto satisfied the Department. My right hon. and learned Friend is to meet the RHA on 12 December for its regional review when this subject will be on the agenda. He hopes that the region will then report that they are taking early steps to meet all the region's needs for secure accommodation.
