HC Deb 22 November 1984 vol 68 c264W
Mr. Greenway

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will establish an inquiry to consider whether the arrangements for supervising and reporting on Mr. Edward Hopson after his discharge from Broadmoor were carried out satisfactorily.

Mr. Mellor

My right hon. and learned Friend is inquiring into the efficacy of the arrangements made for supervising Mr. Hopson and he has asked for reports from those responsible. In the light of the reports he will consider whether any further action is required.
