§ Mr. Lawrenceasked the Attorney-General whether he has considered the Report of the Statute Law Society working party on the consolidation of enactments; and whether he proposes to act upon the recommendations made therein.
§ The Attorney-GeneralTogether with the Lord Chancellor, I have considered this report. However, I would not wish to propose amendments to consolidation procedure until we are both satisfied that the proposals have general parliamentary support.
