§ Mr. Maudeasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is satisfied thai: no inconvenience is being or will be caused to taxpayers by the Inland Revenue's intention to deal with the affairs of a group of companies from a single tax office.
§ Mr. MooreHandling the tax affairs of the larger groups of companies in a single tax office is the most effective and efficient way of doing the job, and I am satisfied that it will not in general cause problems for taxpayers. The Inland Revenue will be glad to look into any cases where it is claimed that inconvenience will be caused.
