§ Mr. Alan ClarkNo separate figures are available for Anglesey, as all applications for the scheme in mid and north Wales are administered from Wrexham jobcentre. The enterprise allowance scheme has been very popular in mid and north Wales and waiting lists of people wanting to join the scheme have not been cleared as quickly as in other parts of the country. I have asked the Manpower Services Commission to see whether it is possible to speed up take-on in the area.
