§ Mr. RifkindWe welcome the continuing contacts between the Governments of South Africa, Angola and the United States. We have been particularly encouraged to learn that the three Governments are currently discussing new proposals. We hope that these will lead to early completion of South African disengagement from Southern Angola and to the Implementation of Security Council resolution (SCR) 435.
