§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Defence what report he has had on the reasons for the crash of the Italian Tornado on 23 July, which left Gioia del Colle base, in Puglia, south east Italy and flew north west to the area of Muglia, near Castel del Monte.
§ Mr. LeeAs I told the hon. Gentleman on 1 August, at columns281–82, there is a continual exchange of flight safety information among the three nations which operate the Tornado aircraft. However, the release of information on the outcome of investigations into the accident on 23 July is a matter for the Italian authorities.
