Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much his Department has spent on advertising in national and local newspapers, on television and in other printed journals in each of the past five years; and what is budgeted in the current financial year for such advertising.

[pursuant to his reply, 8 May 1984, c. 278]: Expenditure on advertising by the Home Office in the past five years was as follows:
