asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he has any proposals to improve the working of the employment transfer scheme.

The scheme is currently being reviewed to determine if it can be made more effective in meeting its objectives. No decisions have yet been reached but I will write to my hon. Friend once the review has been completed.
