§ Mr. Skeetasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will assess the impact of the implementation of the proposals about compensation in paragraph 154 of the report of the Subsidence Compensation Review Committee on agriculture.
§ Mrs. FennerCompensation for mining subsidence damage is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Energy. My Department will however be offered the opportunity to comment on the implications for agriculture of the Waddilove report's recommendations, and these will be taken into account in the preparation of the Government's response.
