asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will give a breakdown of the accumulated reduction in rate support grant in England of £8.9 billion given in his answer of 25 April, Official Report, column 532, at 1984–85 prices (a) between 1978–79 and 1979–80, (b) between 1978–79 and 1980–81, (c) between 1978–79 and 1981–82, (d) between 1978–79 and 1982–83, (e) between 1978–79 and 1983–84 and (f) between 1978–79 and 1984–85.
