§ Mr. Fatchettasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the chief constable of Nottinghamshire police about the use made by that police force of photographs taken of persons arrested who are not subsequently involved in court proceedings.
§ Mr. HurdThe chief constable tells me that no further use is made of such photographs, and that they are later destroyed.
