§ Mr. Stuart Hollandasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry on how many occasions in 1983 officials from his Department met representatives of (a) BICC, (b) GEC and (c) Trafalgar House or their subsidiaries to discuss the application or the potential application of aid trade provision funds.
§ Mr. FletcherOfficials in the Department, particularly those in the overseas trade divisions, maintain regular and frequent contact with all major British exporters, including those mentioned, to assist their current and planned overseas activities, including possible applications for support under the aid and trade provision. It is not possible to quantify these contacts.
