§ 33. Sir Hector Monroasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has agreed final arrangements over milk quotas with milk marketing boards in Scotland.
§ Mr. YoungerI have requested the milk marketing boards to notify provisional quotas to producers who deliver to them. Areas outwith board schemes will be notified shortly. Detailed arrangements for direct sales and special cases can only be resolved in accordance with Commission implementing regulations. Details will be announced as soon as possible. There remains some uncertainty about the allocation of direct sales quota which we have asked the Agriculture Commissioner to resolve urgently.
