HC Deb 16 May 1984 vol 60 cc169-70W
38. Mr. Bill Walker

asked the Solicitor-General for Scotland what instructions his office has issued to procurators fiscal with regard to prosecutions for deer poaching.

The Solicitor-General for Scotland

My noble and learned Friend the Lord Advocate and his predecessors in office have from time to time issued instructions to procurators fiscal regarding deer poaching as appear to be necessary. Said instructions have, in the main, been restricted to advising procurators fiscal of the relevant aspects of legislation relating to deer poaching.
