§ Mr. Corbynasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will grant the right of repatriation to all prisoners from Northern Ireland to serve their sentences in prisons in Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. HurdNo prisoner has the right to choose his location, either within England and Wales or in another jurisdiction. Applications for transfer to Northern Ireland under the Criminal Justice Act 1961 will continue to be considered on their merits, in the light of the Government's policy on such transfers.
