§ Mr. Dubsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) were Saleh Ibrahim Mabruk and Abdul Ghadir Baghdadi given the opportunity to make representations to the panel of advisers referred to in paragraph 150 of the statement of changes in the "Immigration Rules", HC 169, prior to their deportation;
(2) what are the names of any Libyan nationals who have been deported on the ground that it is conducive to the public good as being in the interests of national security or of the relations between the United Kingdom and any other country or for other reasons of a political nature since 17 April; what was their immigration status; and were they given the opportunity to make representations to the panel of advisers;
(3) what was the immigration status of Saleh Ibrahim Mabruk and Abdul Ghadir Baghdadi before they were deported on Monday 23 April and Tuesday 24 April respectively.

Lataief had indefinite leave to remain in this country. The other four had leave to enter or remain for the purposes of study. They were all given the opportunity to make representations to the advisers.
