§ Sir Geoffrey HoweThe treaty signed in Brussels on 13 March, amending, with regard to Greenland, the treaties establishing the European Communities is subject to ratification. It is now being prepared for publication as a Command Paper and will be laid before Parliament as soon as possible. An Order-in-Council will subsequently be laid before Parliament under Section 1(3) of the European Communities Act (1972) which will be subject to approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.
