§ Mrs. FennerI have no proposals at present to introduce legislation on this matter. The Brewers' Society operates a voluntary code through its members requiring the indication of original gravity on bottle labels and in public houses. The European Commission has proposed that all alcoholic drinks, including beer, shall be marked with alcoholic strength and these proposals are currently being considered in the Community.
