§ Mr. Frank Fieldasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will publish the correspondence he has had with the chairman of the board of visitors to Holloway prison over reappointments to the board;
(2) if he will set out his reasons for not reappointing Nigel Seed to the board of visitors to Holloway prison.
§ Mr. HurdNo. Mr. Seed's appointment expired on 31 December 1983. There is no entitlement to a further appointment and it is not the practice to give reasons either for making an appointment or not making one.
