§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe number of staff employed in establishing the registers reached the full-time equivalent of 16 in mid-1982, when almost all the registers had been introduced. The number currently engaged on maintaining the registers and on other aspects of the scheme is the equivalent of 26 engaged full time.
