§ Mr. Allan StewartNeither Ministers nor officials of my Department have met representatives of Tayside regional council to discuss the authority's consultation procedures. My Department has written to the authority on the question on two occasions. A copy of the letter of 8 December 1983 is available in the Library and that of 15 March 1984 sought the council's comments in connection with complaints lodged in terms of section 70 of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980. It is not normal practice to keep a record of individual telephone calls.
