Mr. Sayeed

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what are the estimated receipts from excise duties on spirits, beer, wine, made-wine and cider and perry that make up (a) the latest estimate for 1983–84 of £3,900 million and (b) the forecast for 1984–85 of £4,000 million, shown in table 6.8 of the Financial Statement and Budget Report 1984–85.
