§ Mr. Wyn RobertsWhile information is available about people receiving hospital inpatient treatment for the effect of solvents, it is not possible to determine how many were a result of personal abuse and how many a result of accident—for example, industrial accident. Information is available from the mental health inquiry about people receiving inpatient treatment for drug psychoses and drug dependence, but since this would cover both hard and soft drugs it is not possible to separate out hard drug use.
