§ Mr. WaddingtonThe available information on admission to the United Kingdom of nationals of the USSR, all of whom require visas, is published annually in "Control of Immigration: Statistics, United Kingdom" (table 1(b) of the issues for 1980 (Cmnd. 8199), 1981 (Cmnd. 8533) and 1982 (Cmnd. 8944)). In 1983, the number of nationals of the USSR admitted to the United Kingdom was 7,560, of which 40 were work permit holders.
