§ Mr. BrittanI am placing in the Library a draft of the guidance I would propose to issue to the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis under clause 96 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Bill, and the guidance I would propose to issue, on a non-statutory basis, to police authorities outside London. Copies of these drafts are being sent to interested organisations for comment.
