§ Mr. ChannonThe latest estimate of the number of excavators imported into the United Kingdom in 1983 is 3,766. This number represents about 60 per cent. of the United Kingdom market. Of these imports some 40 per cent. were consigned from France and 34 per cent. from Japan. No information is available on the manufacturing companies concerned.
