§ Mr. WhitneyWe do not recognise the so-called Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and have no diplomats accredited to it. However, the High Commission in Nicosia, which is accredited to the Republic of Cyprus, has informal contacts with the Turkish Cypriots, which provide for the protection of British interests in northern Cyprus.
