§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the estimated production and consumption of sugar in the European Economic Community in 1982 and 1983, the average daily and white sugar prices in London in 1983, the United Kingdom intervention price for raw and white sugar, the average export price to non-European Economic Community markets from the United Kingdom, and the amount paid in export restitutions by the European Economic Community to United Kingdom and to other European Economic Community products for the latest period for which information is available.

Community statistics on production and consumption are collected on a crop not a calendar year basis. Only quota sugar is available for consumption within the Community. The most recent statistics are:
