§ The Prime MinisterIn Budapest I met President Losonczi and held talks in the Parliament building with First Secretary Kadar and Prime Minister Lazar. I laid a wreath in Heroes square, and visited St. Matthias church, the historical museum and a market. In Szentendre I visited the Laszlo Telep housing project being developed by Wimpey, and a ceramic museum. I laid a wreath at the Solymar Commonwealth war cemetery and visited Visegrad. Before leaving Budapest I met British Embassy staff and families and gave a press conference.
