§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 1 March 1984, c. 274]: If defence expenditure is included, in 1983–84 total Government spending in the Falkland Islands will amount to some £240,000 per head of population. In 1984–85 the figure is expected to be around £190,000.
