§ 55. Mr. Jannerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what police security arrangements he has made for the protection of the Indian high commission and its occupants in the light of recent events in the Punjab.
§ Mr. HurdIt is not the practice to disclose details of security arrangements, but I know from the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis and other chief officers that, following recent events, police protection for the Indian high commission and its occupants, and other Indian diplomatic premises, has been enhanced.
