§ Mr. Prescottasked the Secretary of State for Transport what was, for each appointment made since 1979, the date of appointment and determination of salary of each member of the British Railways Board and the National Bus Company, the date on which the salary determination in each case was laid before Parliament under paragraph 8(2) of schedule 1 to the Transport Act 1962, the date of each redetermination of salary and the date on which each such redetermination was laid before Parliament; and if he will make a statement as to the maximum period he normally expects to elapse before such notifications are laid before Parliament.
