§ Mr. BrookeIt is for the Medical Research Council to decide on priorities for medical research within the sums allocated to it from the science budget. I understand that, in the light of the retirement of the biostatistics unit's director in 1986, MRC will review the unit's future; that review will have regard to the programmes of research to which the unit contributes.
