§ Mr. John MacKayIn the first instance work will be carried out to validate the data already held; this will entail the examination of individual case records, and blood and tissue specimens where these have been preserved. Thereafter, depending on the findings of this initial work and any relevant recommendation of the Black inquiry, further studies may be necessary, and, if so, they will be put in hand.
