asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how much whale oil the United Kingdom imports from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics for the purposes of margarine manufacture.

In the period from January 1982 to April 1984 no imports of whale oil have been recorded from the Soviet Union.
