HC Deb 12 June 1984 vol 61 c426W
Mr. Andrew F. Bennett

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will allow the car parks at Government buildings, including Heron house, Asply house, Wellesley house and Piccadilly in Stockport to be used by the general public on Saturdays, for a charge if necessary.

Sir George Young

The Property Services Agency of the Department of the Environment is always willing to consider such applications, but the decision will depend on the circumstances in each case. The north-west regional office of the PSA will respond shortly to a request from Stockport borough council for public use of the car parks at the buildings to which the hon. Member refers.
