§ Mr. John PattenGrants to organisations concerned with drug misuse under the Department's general scheme of grants to voluntary organisations are listed in the table. In addition projects approved under the Department's central initiative to improve services for drug misusers were listed in my right hon. Friend's reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Crawley (Mr.Soames) on 9 February at columns756–60 and in my right hon. and learned Friend's reply to the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, North-East (Mrs. Short) on 30 April at columns 54–56.
The Health Education Council, which will receive £9,135,000 in Government funds in 1984–85, provides educational materials covering drug misuse as part of its work in promoting health education. Funds have also been provided in support of research into drug misuse.
