§ Mr. Macleanasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied with the distribution arrangements for leaflet H11 concerning grants for the cost of travel to hospital.
§ Mr. NewtonAbout half a million H11 leaflets are distributed to voluntary bodies, family practitioner committees and district health authorities each year, so that they may be made widely available. In addition local social security offices distribute nearly one million of these leaflets to the pubic each year, bringing total annual distribution to 1½ million.
We are satisfied that these arrangemens should mean that people who want the leaflet can get hold of it because of the wide distribution.

§ Mr. NewtonThe total production cost of leaflet H11 for the November 1983 edition was £17,668. Of this £600 was for distribution to health authorities, but there may be other distribution costs which cannot be identified.
