§ Sir George YoungBetween April 1979 and March 1984, 5,941 housing association dwellings were sold to sitting tenants in England, representing 1.5 per cent. of the housing associations' fair rent stock at 1 April 1983. A further 24,219 co-ownership sales were completed during that period.
