HC Deb 23 July 1984 vol 64 c536W
Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what inquiries he has made about off-duty soldiers smoking in the mattress storeroom of the Falklands hospital.

Mr. Stanley

It is not considered that any such inquiries are needed in view of the conclusions reached by the commission of inquiry, in its recently published report, after a very thorough investigation into the cause of the fire at the hospital.

Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Defence why there were no lavatory facilities in the military wing of the Falklands hospital.

Mr. Stanley

Both male and female lavatories were provided as extensions to the military wing.
