§ Mr. Maloneasked the Secretary of State for Defence what recent consultations he has had with civil helicopter operators about improved air safety rules in the area of the Rosehearty range.
§ Mr. LeeCivil operators were consulted by the national air traffic services before the introduction, earlier this year, of measures to improve the procedural separation of military and civilian aircraft in the area. There will, likewise, be further consultations with civil operators as the effect of these measures is assessed over the coming months.
