§ Mr. David Youngasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if, following his visit to Bolton hospitals, he is satisfied that the allocation of revenue to Bolton district hospital by the North-West regional health authority in the last two years has been sufficient to meet the problems of the area; what information he has as to the priority given by the region to Bolton hospitals in its forthcoming financial allocation; and if he will make a statement on the future levels of funding for hospitals in Bolton;
(2) if, following his visit to Bolton hospitals, he is satisfied that the regional health authority is sufficiently representative of the problems of Bolton;
(3) if he will ensure that phase 1 of the Bolton general hospital will start no later than 1987; and if he will make a statement.
