§ Mr. Macleanasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when the results of the evaluation of the management budget trials in the National Health Service will be available.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeAn initial report on the four management budget projects (at Basingstoke, North Tees, Southmead and Ealing) will be prepared this autumn. A further assessment will take place next year. A decision will then be made on further action including whether those reports will be made publicly available.
