§ Mr. Alan ClarkThe 1981 "Labour Force Survey" indicates that there were about 30,000 non-British European Community nationals in employment in the United Kingdom hotel and catering industry in the spring of 1981. As this estimate is based on a small sample it is subject to considerable sampling error.
§ Mr. Spellerasked the Secretary of State for Employment how many non-European Economic Community foreign nationals have been granted work permits to work in the hotel and catering industry during the last five years for which figures are available.
