§ Sir George YoungMy right hon. Friend is reviewing private sector housing improvement policy, including the operation of the home improvement grant system. We intend to simplify the system while ensuring that it is proof against abuse and that grant expenditure provides good value for money. The Government's proposals will be published as soon as possible.
