§ Mr. Wilsonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will outline the conditions under which Customs and Excise cover is granted at Dundee airport.
§ Mr. HayhoeCustoms attendance is provided on a concessional basis for the clearance of business flights, both outwards and return, made by United Kingdom resident business people. A simplified clearance arrangement is also provided for outward flights which comply with certain conditions. Additionally clearance may be granted on an ad hoc basis for particular flights on humanitarian grounds or which are otherwise in either the national or regional interest. Adequate prior notice is normally required.
